Fished the south end on Monday with guide Ken Wilson (Lithia Springs Guide Service) and my brother from Iowa. With him traveling all the way from Iowa I wanted to be sure to catch fish and Ken sure put us on the fish. We were done with our overs by 11:30 am, then did catch and release until we had our unders and were ready to quit. Ken was a great guy to have show us all the tricks. He was fun to be with and an excellent teacher. I will recommend to anyone. He also was kind enough to help me with some boat problems I was having--came over to where we were staying and helped solve all the problems and get them fixed. Well above the regular guide duties. Then yesterday evening he called to see how we did and now today has helped me out with some decisions regarding future days at shelbyville. I also want to thank Steve Welch who told me about Ken. It's nice to know those guys work together and help each other out. We had a blast, sold my brother on it being worth the trip and have enough fish for a few good meals. Thanks again to Ken Wilson.
